SCHOOL OF ROCK NASHVILLE & FRANKLIN

At School of Rock Nashville, our music program for children with no previous musical experience (typically ages 5 to 6-years-old) is called Rookies. Rookies students have one weekly group music lesson where they learn fundamentals like chords, rhythm and song structure. Kids get to learn and experiment with multiple instruments so they can later decide which one they ultimately want to continue pursuing in Rock 101. Rookies students may further their experience by adding a weekly 45-minute individual lesson along with their regular weekly group lesson. Both the individual and group lessons are connected so that the group lessons reinforce skills covered during individual lessons.
